How you look at it

When you look at the world, what is the first thing that comes to your attention? Do you zero in on the problems, the heartaches, the fears and the disappointments, or do you first take note of the beauty, the joys and the positive possibilities?

If you look at life through a lens of negativity, life will dutifully arrange itself to meet your expectations. When you approach life from a more positive perspective, your expectations will just as surely be met.

Is it unrealistic to look at the bright side, to remain generally positive, and to expect the best in life? No, because reality itself is neutral, and what you get from it depends upon how you view it and what you make of it.

The raw forces, circumstances and events are, for the most part, out of your control. Yet you can completely control the way you perceive, respond, adapt and yes, even prosper under their influence.

The control you exercise over your own perceptions, thoughts and actions will make all the difference in your life. Reality is what it is, and your own relationship to that reality is precisely whatever you choose for it to be.

There is goodness, there is beauty, there is love and joy and boundless opportunity when you choose to see it. Look realistically at the world, see the very best, and bring it joyfully to life in each moment.

Have a great day,

Regards,

Laugh A While

Seriousness is a disease. Somehow men have conditioned themselves to be unhappy. Most men carry a long serious face and a mask. They cannot smile; they cannot enjoy the small things of life; they keep aloof – their ego won't allow it.

"Life is not a serious thing. It is fun, it is laughter and it is joy”.

Take hold of your own life. See, how the whole existence is celebrating. Nature is enjoying. Trees are swinging; birds are flying in the air and singing. Rivers are flowing freely and oceans are wild. Everywhere out, there is fun; everywhere there is joy and delight. Laugh a while and enjoy the fun of life.

"Knowledge leads to unity. Ignorance, to disunity."
"As a man thinks, so he becomes."

"As the snake is seperate from its slough, even so is the Spirit seperate from the body."

"Men are like pillow-cases. The colour of one may be red, that of another blue, and that of the third black; but all contain the same cotton within. So it is with man; one is beautiful, another is ugly, a third holy , and a fourth wicked; but the Divine Being dwells in them all."

"That knowledge which purifies the mind and heart alone is true knowledge, all else is only a negation of knowledge."

Who you know you are

Many of the good and valuable things you do will go unnoticed by everyone else. Do them anyway, because you will know.

Many of the contributions you make will not be fully appreciated by others. Make them anyway, because they're the right things to do.

It's great when you receive recognition for the work you do and the high standards you maintain. Yet even when there is no possibility of recognition, there is still plenty of reason to give your very best.

Even when no one else is watching, you are watching. Even when no one else appreciates the value of what you're doing, you understand that value.

Your honest, authentic view of yourself influences all that you do. And that view is formed largely during the times when no one is watching.

Be ever true to yourself and to the values you hold dear. Your life is a living expression of who you truly know you are.
